The handling of research data in the SFB/Transregio is based on the supplemented and updated DFG memorandum on Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice, on the DFG guidelines on the Handling of Research Data, published in October 2015, and the measures derived from them by the universities.
Research data management is centrally organized at the TU Darmstadt and the KIT. The SFB/Transregio is integrated into the central structures shown in Figure 1. The goal of these structures is the effective and sustainable management of research data, in which a combination of centralized and decentralized aspects meet.
