Marion Börnhorst awarded for doctoral thesis

Prize of Friedrich and Elisabeth Boysen Foundation for KIT young researcher

Dr.-Ing. Marion Börnhorst, a senior scientist in the Deutschmann group at KIT, has been awarded this year's doctoral thesis award of the Friedrich and Elisabeth Boysen Foundation. Her thesis is entitled “Urea-Water Sprays in NOx Emission Control Systems: Interaction with Solid Walls and Deposit Formation”.

Marion Börnhorst heads the research group Multiphase Processes and Reactors with five PhD students. She is currently working on her habilitation.
