Dr.-Ing. Christina Straßacker from the Institute of Technical Thermodynamics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and member of the CRC/TRR 150 has received the John H. S. Lee Young Investigator Award at the 28th ICDERS, an prize which is awarded to encourage young scientists to undertake research in the dynamics of explosions and reactive systems.
The nominates up to two awards every year recognizing either students or combustion scientists who have completed their PhD within the last three years. This year at the 28th ICDERS held in Napoli, Italy, Dr.-Ing. Christina Straßacker from the Institute of Technical Thermodynamics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology was one of two John H. S. Lee Young Investigator Award recipients.
